Not a valid species for Mont Saint-Hilaire, it has been accepted as a new species under it’s designation IMA 2005-030.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Color varies from pale pink to pinkish white.
Luster is vitreous.
Diaphaneity is opaque.
Crystal System is monoclinic, C
Crystal Habits include platy masses to several decimeters across,
equant pseudohexagonal crystals to 0.5 mm lining tiny cavities in
the platy masses or are impaled on acicular aegirine crystals.
Cleavage (??).
Fracture is uneven.
Hardness is 4.5
Specific Gravity is approximately 2.95 g/cm
Streak is white.
Associated Minerals include albite, analcime, brockite, eudialyte group,
microcline, steacyite, thornasite(?) and yofortierite.
Distinguishing Features: Brittle.
Origin: Named in 1995 after its discovery locality at Lake Vuoriyarvi
and the Vuoriyarvi alkali-ultramafic complex, Kola Peninsula, Russia.
