La rosenbuschite est une espèce accessoire extrêmement rare au mont Saint-Hilaire.
CARACTÉRISTIQUES PHYSIQUES:
Couleur - jaune pâle à beige.
Éclat - vitreux.
Transparence - translucide à opaque.
Système cristallin - triclinique, P1.
Morphologie - cristaux aciculaires jusqu'à 3 mm formant des rayons divergents.
Clivage - {010} parfait (difficile à décerner).
Cassure - irrégulière.
Dureté - 5 - 6.
Densité - 3,3 g/cm3.
Trait - blanc.
Associations minérales - aégirine, analcime, burbankite, calcite, natrolite, paranatrolite, wöhlerite et zircon.
Autres propriétés - aucunes.
Étymologie - nommée en 1887, d'après Karl Harry F. Rosenbusch (1836-1914), professeur Allemand de minéralogie.
